I was watching video highlights of Ryan Smyth's return to Edmonton as an Avalance player something like 12 years after he began his career in Edmonton and a year after being traded away. The standing ovation was just kick ass, Smyth was pretty broken up, he actually loved playing in Edmonton.
 
after a video tribute and a huge standing ovation, and the fact that your one of the most respected players of the EDM oilers past, I would probably be pretty shook up in his place.
