Good old new skis and size question

The time has come to get some new skis. I am 6ft 200 pounds and a pretty aggressive skier not the best on the mountain but I can hang. Unfortunately I live in the midwest put get a few good trips a year out west. I prefer powder, cliffs, trees over the park probably 75/25 is what I ski. I have spent the last 3 years on the original 165 pocket rockets. yeah I know way short, they were a gift.

I'm looking now at the Scratch, Seth, Gun, Prophet 100, ARV's, and the 4FRNT VCT. I know that is a big list but I'm not for sure what would be the best for me. I know these have all been talked about a lot but your advise would be a big help.

The other issue is size. Should I go with the bigger ones like around 180 and up? I have never skied anything bigger then a 175. Thanks for your input guys.

your title is funny... i'd recomend the prophet 100, its an awesome all mountain & powder ski.. at your size i'm pretty sure you could handle it for park if you wanna do a few hits here and there although i wouldnt recomend it for a park ski. and yes.. go bigger than 175

you should get the 186 prophet 100 because it kills all mountian or the 182 vct because it shreds almost as hard as the prophet all mountian and still kills park. also, the vct is more maneuverable in tight spots and super fun for slashing pow turns.

Is the VCT to much under foot if I will be skiing more on midwest groomed and park then out west? Also the bindings I have right now our 100 mm wide break. The VCT is 104 any issues with that, or could I give them a friendly bend and be ok?

you guys are on drugs......a 185+ big mountain twin in the midwest.....makes tons of sense

stay between 175-180......shoot for a stiffer twin, like public enemy, karma, 1080. no need to work harder than you have to.....you don't need skis that big.
