Southern ontario is 3 main hills.

Blue Mountain

Mount St. Louis Moonstone

and Dagmar is on the up because of the park hype

If your looking for park, Blue's is ok for rails and stuff, haven't seen the jumps for a couple weeks now. Mount St. Louis' park is always awesome, only checked out dag once, its alright, I wouldn't go as far as "pretty good", especially compared to MSLM.

Blue Mountain

Pros

-Size

-Lots of other runs

-Good park with a dedicated lift

Cons

-Lots of gapers, especially outside of the park

-No aerials allowed

-Expensive

Mount St. Louis

Pros

-Huge park

-Two different parks

-Less gapers

-Aerials

-Not as expensive as blue, if I remember correctly

Cons

-I dont like it much for anything but park

-Thats all I can think of, idk there resort food sucks too

Dagmar

Pros

-Cheapest lift tickets

-Solid park for size of the hill

-I found the park really chill, not intimidating at all (maybe just me)

Cons

-Hill is super small

-Not great runs other than park, mainly due to the vertical

Just my opinions , tried my best but could maybe still be a little biased but if you need anything else PM me.

haha sorry ive never skied there or talked to him about it and those pics were off instagram thats all i know about it.

First off, excellent review! But don't you mean inverts, and if you do, are you sure they're not allowed, or just not recommended? I was there for reading week a few times, and saw kids throwing corks, rodeos etc. all day.

I ski at louis and can attest to most of the things mitch said. Some thing that could stand correction however are:-Louis is full of fucking gapers. you will be snaked and potentially hit, ESPECIALLY in the junkyard (bigger features in the outback keep the gapers away)

-Poutine is dope as fuck, always ask for more fries because they will chate you. (everything else sucks)

-Junkyard is probably the least intimidating park I have ever ridden

-Outback chair is right on the run, so if you are someone who is ashamed/embarrassed of falling and what others think of you, the outback may not be your park of choice

other than that if you know where to look and ski, you can have some fun in the trees on some of the runs, just don't go in the trees when skipatrol is looking, they get pissed

Inverted Aerials is what the sign says, I know most resorts consider even corks an invert which isnt technically true, but they do. I also know that inverted aerials are thrown all the time. Whether they enforce it or not, thats what the sign says haha, but yeah, my wording is off there.

In the terrain park at blue it says no aerials but ive seen many people do them and not get there pass pulled... blue also has wayy better jumps than louis

at my hill in london flips are not allowed but corks and flatspins are if you make it flat enough.

and you guys are forgetting lakeridge.

literally 2 minutes away from dagmar. not sure which one is cheaper to go to

dagmar has more features than lakeridge but I like lakeridge better. longer park run, usually pretty flowy park with nice lines and variety. decent jumps. dag probably has better jumps, but less of them.

go to mslm over blue. blue is nice but you have to get a park pass and on weekends it's a fucking zoo. blue also has an extremely wide variety of flat rails. more up, down and flat rails than you have probably seen in your life in fact. but dope jump line and usually a nice pipe. I don't go to louis much but it's the best imo. I'm moving to barrie for college next year so I'm looking forward to having better park riding.

this is true, but we are all forgetting to mention that no matter where you go ontario skiing is shit, and the question was is it worth the drive. If your coming from some where with no skiing, maybe. But from somewhere with even decent skiing, probably not.

inverted aerials are not allowed at blue, if you do them, cool; but technically they aren't allowed and unfortunately people do get there pass pulled for it, which is another reason louis is popular for park
