Good Editing Programs for Macs.

Does anyone here know of any good editing programs for Macs? (Stupid question) Obviously I know of Final Cut Pro and Premiere pro and After Effects and such. But I need a good editing programs that is free (trial/pirated). I only need it for like a month which is why I don't really want to pay.I tried downloading the 30 day trials from adobe for After Effects and Premiere Pro but they say "your licensing has expired" every time I try to open it and I haven't even used it! I have also tried downloading Final Cut Pro from a torrent site but it needs discs when I install it. So If anyone knows of anything good to use or how to get around that expired licensing problem please let me know! I will reward you with Karma and an E pat on the back.

 
Yeah But all iMovie does is basically cut clips and allow music to be put in and does transitions... I want something that I can do slow-mo on and such.
 
.... CS4 is just the edition basically. premier pro and final cut and after effects can all be CS4...

and I'm just about positive you can slow stuff down with iMovie

 
.. if you say you want something that is trial/pirated, then go download final cut pro or download premiere pro and after effects

what the hell is the point of this thread? you know what to get, and you're willing to do illegal things to get it.. so just do it already
 
as long as its not the newer version of iMovie you can change the speed. if its iMovie HD(the clipboard logo), your good. if its iMovie 08 (the star icon), your out of luck
 
keep looking for FCP on a different torrent site. ive heard its pretty easy to download. or you can try to download final cut express if FCP doesn't work, or imovie HD 06 does slow mo and is a lot better than imovie 08.
 
I have downloaded the trials for both premiere pro and after effects. But when I go to open it a window pops up saying you licensing has expired and it shuts down. and I found copies of Final Cut Pro but when I install it it says it needs various discs to run. (Soundtrack Pro discs; and others and I don't have those.)
 
..uncheck the boxes that say stuff like "soundtrack pro content, motion content, etc." also, since i can tell you got final cut studio, just install final cut pro (and maybe motion if you really want to..). but like i said a second ago, uncheck all the content boxes, because thats what the other original cds are for.

or, alternately, you could download those content discs, but they're not really worth it, since you're going to make stuff yourself anyways

uhh its more for like text effects and motion tracking for objects/text. its not really that important but its kinda fun to play around with
 
i had a copy of premiere pro cs4 that was cracked, but i switched over to vegas because it's lighter. when you're downloading just read the comments on the torrent and you'll probably find out how to make it work.
