Good earbuds

looking for some nice earbuds. i sit on the subway for an hour in the morning and an houri in the afternoon, so im looking for something to make this more bearable. originally wanted dre beats (my mom has them and i really like the sound) but now im hearing theres alot better out there.

thinking about these atm, rebranded ultimate ears.

they seem unbeatable for the price, but i cant seem to pull the trigger. i dunno, i just dont trust them to be totally awesome. maybe its cuz im a sucker for graphics and packaging. anyone have any input?

im currently listening to (actually as i write this) skullcandy iphone titans. theyve failed on me and im thinking its finally time to move away from skullcandy and into the audiophile ranges (i currently have titans, fmjs, skullcrushers, icons, and smokinbuds)

To be honest, skullcandy is extremely overrated. Yes, they have decent bass, but the midrange and highs are awful. I'd say get those headphones, they have pretty good reviews.

I got some skull Candy Hesh cans and love them! they give super volume but it's also really good quality bass, mids and highs. not had any distortion either even at full volume. (full enough for it to hurt my ears through my beanie)

My buddy has a pair of senheiser ear buds and they are really clear and good with bass. I would suggest taking a look at them

i just feel like if you want quality head phones then you should get the ones that cover your ears, but i'm not really au courant with technology either.

yeah i read it but was offering my experience of good quality cheap headphones and my experience with Skullcandy.

I also have some Ultimate Ears TrippleFi10s but although they offer great sound and noise cancelling they are v. expensive and i wouldn't really wanna take them out and about (i used them for when i was on the sounddesk at discos and concerts)

ive had skullcandys for years and theyre good for durability, but not for sound quality. ive heard a friends sienhieser over ear phones and theyre outta this world. i want somethign like that, in an earbud. under $150
