so im interested in nursing/engineering and im getting close to having to apply. im looking for something thats around decent skiing obviously but really mainly im looking for a good school. UVM is a dream but its pretty expensive. im wondering if you guys have any recommendations or if any of you are in college and can tell me anything? ive been looking at colleges in vermont like UVM and castleton and then salt lake city.

It's hard to recommend good schools when we don't know your academic, extracurricular, or financial situation. Which schools can you see yourself feasibly attending?

u of u is pretty solid. out of state is a little steep in price but you can get in state tuition after the first year pretty easily.

i do a ski and snowboard club which i run, i have a 3.5 gpa, and i am decently financially off. current college savings at around 100k, or at least will be after this summer.

I go to Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Their reputation, classes and co-op program are awesome for setting yourself up for your future. Boston is a great time, only down side is that I start to miss nature after a while, there is like 30% girls here, and lotsa nerds,( but plenty of schools around if your social and like partying), and huge house parties are sorta hard to come by since its in the city. I'm looking forward to getting my Masters in Architecture somewhere out west as soon as I graduate here.
