Good camping spots near boulder

Me and some buddies are going camping this weekend. We were thinking el dorado canyon park or golden gate canyon park. Anyone camped there before or have suggestions? We are looking for something about an hour away. And how receptive are these places gunna be to people getting rowdy? I dont wanna get kicked out in the middle of the night.

The Switzerland Trail is a good place. Its only about 30 min away up boulder canyon. Good car camping spots. As long as you drive in a ways you can be loud and not have to worry about bothering anyone.

agreed ive camped there and its pretty cool.

also theres lefthand canyon if you have off road accesible cars. it has some medium difficulty off roading trails that are fun to rally around on.

another idea if you have a truck that can go offroad is to find a forest service road and just drive up it. ive found some cool roads off of highway 7 that have produced some really cool camping spots.

switzerland trail if awesome, just don't drive around if your too drunk my friend drove off the trail into a tree haha...
