good camera for $400 or less

whats the best camera for filming skiing that i can get for $400 or less? iknow all under$400 will kinda suck, but whats the least sucky?

there is a cheap sharp out there mini dv, it's like 400 bucks at the costco. but you sould just save up your money and buy skis, everyone and their grandma is trying to make a ski video now-adays and for the most part they suck. Skiing with a camera sucks too, ever think of that?

If I were you and are planning on seriously getting into filming I would just save up all your money and get a really good camera like a GL1 or a VX2000. I bought a pretty good camera in the begining around $1000 (a sony trv11) but even that doesn't have the best quality.

only buy sony or cannon... you can get sony mini dv cameras for about 400-450 at bwayphoto.com. that's your best bet for your money

Best bet for buying any camera/video equipment online is at bhphotovideo.com their prices are as low as you will get from any place that isnt going to screw you some how. If you ever have a problem they are right there to help you out.
