Good boot fitter in Vail/BC

need a new pair of boots and i am in Vail for the season.

was thinknig a pair of SPK as i have a wide foot but i would rather a boot fitter tell me which ones to go for without worrying about which boots he wants to sell.

anyone got any advise or fitters i should go see?

go to Double Diamond in lionshead...mackenzie is pretty good
i also hear the boot lab in Vail is pretty sweet
surefoot is a racket for gouging tourists so dont go there unless you already know what you want or are just getting a footbed and have a discount lined up

i think i will head to lionshead.

does anyone know anything about the Beavercreek lodge bootshop? i may be able to get looked after there price wise but i would rather pay more for a boot that is fitted correctly.

 
If you're ok with driving to Boulder, Larry's Bootfitter is bomb.

some say he's the best in the world. I have him fit all of my boots
 
yeah this is truth, i definitely went there this summer to get my shit sorted out, i was just giving other options if you cant get to boulder, but if you CAN then larry's is the ONLY option
 
Dano Graves at Base Mountain Sports in BC.I mean, I guess Tanner Hall's personal tech would be pretty good.
 
and his last name isnt graves. its Dano Bruno. I work with him at BC Sports. He's a great boot fitter, best i've ever met, but he comes at a price. Come see any of us we can get you set up.
