i need to pick out a book for english thats at least 250 pages and is non-fiction. something that is a relatively easy read that you can enjoy reading.

if u have any in mind please state the name and a lil about it

anything by chuck palhaniuk, he's the guy who wrote fight club (you could read that actually) I suggest Choke, thats my favorite book he has written. fear and loathing in las vegas by hunter s thompson is also a good book, there are tons and tons of good fiction books out there

THis book called "welcome to the monkey house" is a bunch of short stories by Kurt Vonnegut. there are some really good stories in it. and you dont have to stick with reading it. Just read random stories. i really like it.

If you wanna read a fiction book that is incredibly good and a great picture of what America and the rest of the world is coming to is the book 1984 by George Orwell...After reading that book my perspective on life has changed ALOT and its really creepy what this country is turning into.

isnt taht non-fiction?....maybe? if its do-able, then im definetly doing that one Jim, cause ive already read like half of it!

slaughter house five by vonnegut is a good one

the things they carried by tim o'brien

rold dahl books are nice

sharpes eagle by bernard cornwell. Its about a soldier in britians army fighting against napoleon. Most of the other books mentioned are classic novels you might read in school and not for fun. Davinci code is also good for fiction.

Yes! That is an awesome book! Another one you might want to consider is Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, it is definitely one of the best books I've read. But it seems to me like you're trying to just do something short and easy, so maybe a 250 page "Where's Waldo" book would be more suitable? Hehe, just kidding, try looking for short descriptions in Sparknotes to see what appeals to you the most.

read animal farm. it is good and funny. or the da vinci code. if you want something a little different than what you normally read but is really good then go for native son by richard wright. your teacher would probably give you mad props for chosing that book. not that it is long, it is just heavy

"Dracula" by Bram Stoker

if you like fantasy books any of "The Wheel of Time" series, by Robert Jordan.

uhhh any of the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - but i dunno if they all are 200+ pages.

i dunno man, Dracula is an awesome book, probably my favorite book of all time.

Woot people agree with me, ya 1984 is insanely good. And i also agree with whomever said Kurt Vonnegut books and "What they carried" by Tim O'Brien, those are both really really good, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut is up there on my all time favorites as well.

If you have any intrest in Ebola (the most deadly virus in the world) read The Hot Zone. Its really amazing how close we came to having an apocolyptic outbreak in the united states.

Want to cheat? Read Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, it'll take you less than a day, then use sparknotes to write papers on it. A+.

da vinci code is amazing, i gotta read angels and demons

all the dan reilly books wer sweet too, some1 mentioned ice station which is sweet and if u go on amazon they give u others that r similar
