the only real post apocaliptic book that i have read is "the road" which was pretty decent.
for man vs wild, "the beach" is fuckin amazing. also "between a rock and a hard place" was pretty good. also check out some more books by the guy who wrote into the wild, they are all pretty damn good too
i heard the road made people want to jump in front of a truck.
well, my boss told me that. and this is a guy who's been in the army as a physiotherapist in afghanistan for 5 years in war zones basically living as a survivalist and loves the zombie / post apoc scene himself. he's pretty badass. true story
plus i dont know if i'd be down for a father / son love story.
If you're also down with not necessarily POST apocalyptic, but just apocalyptic as well as zombie-esque stuff, check out Hater by David Moody. There are two more after it, but that's the first and best.
Wingman! Guy just flys an f16 around and is a boss haha . Haven't read it in a while but I'm looking for a copy.Look jinto it. Read the hunger games? That's post ap.
not an apocalyplse book but read shogun by james clavell. its long as fuck but has a super good story thats sick as fuck. danish guy basically gets washed up on shore in 17th century japan and becomes a samurai. would recomend.
