good art school?

my gf is looking to go to college and minor in art. anyone know of any new england schools w/ good art programs? shes into painting mostly, if that helps

Well if she wants to minor in art, don't go to an art school. If she wants to major in art, then different story - go to an art school.

Basically, alot of liberal arts colleges have strong art programs. It's relatively easy to check that.

If she wants to really get focused on art I'd say Rhode Island School of Design, Hartford School of the Arts, or Boston Museum of Arts School (I know that last one's wrong, the name is confusing).

i dunno she might major in it...she said she just wants to go to a school w/ good programs...thought it would help her out if she got other ppls opts. i dunno
