Gonna build some shiiat, got some questions

i've built lots of pvc stuff, but i'm hoping to build some metal rails this weekend, i was gonna just use whatever i could find at the metal section of the demolition dumo, what kinds of metal should i get so ican drill through to wood like u do with pvc, anybody got plans? thanks
 
If you can find mild steel go for that itll work for rails and its pretty easy to drill for a drill bit go for a HSS jobber drill bit theyll work well
 
make sure to get steel, preferably hot roll steel, your dimensions for the width of the rail should probably be at least 3"
 
all i did was find a 12 foot rail in a dumpster, i sanded it down and painted it. it cost me 4 bucks for paint and nails and 20 for wood, it was sick

make sure to get a steel rail, not aluminum, because it can dent, and it should be thick enough
