Going to Windells without a friend?

Iv'e searchbarred and read all the threads about how great Windells is and how it is really worth the money. Sadly though, none of buddies can come with me, so is it still worth it to go without some friends?
 
i'm about 100 percent certain you will make friends without a problem. I think a lot of people go alone, just lke any other summer camp. Not a lot of people can afford that shit. It will probably be a blast either way.
 
for the most part, all the skiers ive met are chill people who are all obsessed with the same thing

i ve been to many summer camps alone in tignes and les 2 alpes and always met some cool people there.
 
yea im going with alot but i hear they have a ton of snow and the earlier terms always have the better snow so it should be fun. ***will be fun***
 
i'm going to session 1. i think going alone is better, because that way you can meet and chill with new people instead of the same friends as always. making friends is half the fun of camp.
 
I was going to go a few years ago to hood with a buddy...a few weeks before going he got arrested for steeling beer from some beer truck...his parents wouldent let him go but I went anyway and had a great time...
 
I went by myself a few years ago and had a blast. Granted, I went to COC more recently and am returning this year, I really had a good time at Windells by myself. If i had a choice, I would rather go to Windells if I was by myself than COC, but would rather go to COC with friends (as in this year and the last time I went). Its easy to meet people at Windells because you are pretty confined to the camp, whereas at Whistler you wander around town during the afternoons.
 
whens session 3 at?

bring all your stuff, it can be full winter mid-july down there, you're at the mercy of the cloud gods really
 
my friend went by himself and he said it wasnt really that fun, because he was mostly hiking the rails by himself
 
dude just go it doesnt matter your lucky if you do. my parents had me believing i was going and i made all of these plans to go with friends and just five minutes ago (its my birthday and i was going to sign up today) they rip me off and say i cant go because they don't want me going across the country alone to break my neck i cant believe them they just fucking ruined my entire season working to go to camp
 
About a third more of the people there go by themselves and always having the time of their lives.
 
hi my names austin and im going to session 4. uh im a great roomy and i dont have major farting problems so u dont have to worry about bad smells.
 
I went to High North alone and it was no problem at all. you'll meet tonnes of new ppl who share the same interest as you, so just DO IT!
 
yeah, you'll for sure make some friends, or at least be the creeper by himself having a blast. i'll be your friend, windells is the shit
 
This summer is going to be siiiick at windells. You will have a blast there even if your by yourself. I worked there all last summer, and i saw a million kids show up alone and have the best time of their life.
 
last year i went to high north alone and i met some friends right when i got to the airport in vancouver. we chilled like the whole time and i met a bunch of other sweet people. you will definetly have a sweet tme with or without a friend. it will be the funnest time of your life.
