So I'm doin this national exchange program thing next semester...1. What season pass do most of you guys get? (im thinking alta/snowbird?)2. How is U of U? / What dorm should I try and get into?3. I'm gonna be looking for people to shred with, hit me up! (pm me if u want)

PC for park, alta/bird for pow.

As for dorms, since youre coming in the middle of the year you might not have much choice.

i did bird last two seasons, best terrain in utah, but canyon closes every snow storm and its a cluster fuck. Brighton is fun for pow/bc access.

Alta or Bird for snow.
Brighton is stupid. The only advantage is less crowds. besides that, the park is beat as hell, and there's nothing about the terrain that makes it better, unless you like traversing a quarter mile, dropping one cliff, and traversing out. I mean, you can do that all day, but why would you?
PC or Canyons for park. I know a lot of people getting a canyons pass this season, I think it's going to be a really great time.

That's because we busted ass to make fun setups. haha. Brighton preseason is obviously the ill.

also, wut kinda college deals are there for passes and are there any shuttles/buses to the mountains?
i havent ridden any UT mtns, just CO

sorry to thread jack but im transferring out to the U in january too and was wondering what everyone suggests for living arrangements. Im a softmore right now and ive already been though the whole dorm experience and stuff but if its way legit at the U i would be down. but i was thinking more along the lines of a house or an apartment. any suggestions?

I too am doing the program! just picked housing, or am almost done. I got PC pass already and post likeley am getting alta soon

PC and or The canyons. brightons got sick pow. but that place is full of so many gypsie snowboarders.

you can just feel the skier hate when you shred there

o dude thats sick! im reall pumped, where u gonna be living? i picked a room in the Chapel Glen dorm, but I had no clue what i was doing but it looks pretty decent...?

I am living in gateway heights...for some reason it was the only available one when i searched. not really too sure i am just ready to be there

word chapel glen is deffinetly the best place to live lots of chill people and everything is close. i live in 802 2nd floor. where are you living?

it honestly doesn't even matter which building you live in, they're all so close its barely noticeable..

to everyone trying to pick your living arrangement. i did NSE last year. way more important then where your living is getting that premium tuesday thursday or monday wednesday schedule. do not go to class more then 2 days a week!
