so im going to newyork with my family for the first time not sure whats cool to see/ do either then the basics of going to the empire state building, the statue of liberty stuff like thatwhat are some cool places to go

cool places to shop

nice places to eat

Go to a Broadway show or David Letterman or something. I took a night boat tour when I was there and it was pretty cool. Tour the aircraft carrier that's anchored there.

• take a load of pics

• spend time looking at buildings & shit

• there are so many food cultures in ny, try new things

alright thank, im only there for lik 4 days and i leave thursday so il see what im able to doplus k to you guys for your suggestions

I don't know if you've ever eaten at Shake Shack, you should try there (they have burgers, hotdogs, etc.). I haven't personally eaten there, but my cousin has and he said it was really good. When I went to NYC, I tried eating there but the line was ridiculously long.

katz deli handsdown is the best, i lived there for 5 years

if your over 21 or have a fake go to LAVO best time of your life guaranteed.

Dylans candy bar is always a good passer of time until you get kicked out

China fun over by 65th is a good chinese place for cheap

just explore, hop on the subway and get off randomly i guarantee it will make your trip

being from newyork, i would definately go eat a shit ton of chineese food in china town. Also go see a broadway play and check out the new nets stadium (brooklyn). Also i used to live in harlem... The urban up there is raw (given the snow) and the cops dont give a shit. Hope that helps.

the normal stuff... time square, empire state building, that shit also if you want to shop and your into sneakers, check out Flight Club NYC

Research and eat at all of the top restaurants there are amazing and no where else in the world rivals the quality of NYC restaurants. Il tinello located on 53 and 5? i think my personal favorite. Hit up the four seasons. Sparks steak house. Peter lugar steakhouse. Tons of others.

Braodway show is pretty cool im not a huge fan of them though. Just walk around crusing the city is awsome. Nightlife is pretty dam fun. Living here my whole life i cant really see it as a tourist destination since its not really a big deal for me just hop on the train and head on in

With his fam? Unless your fam can afford to drop 600$minimum per meal, all those were a stupid choice just get some chicken and lamb over rice, salad, white and red sauce pita on top and your set, nyc in one meal

Go to Carnegie Deli by Central Park. I had an open faced Reuben that literally had 5 lbs of pastrami and corned beef stacked on top. Also the best coconut cream pie i've ever tasted

If ur visiting the statue of liberty, get there as soon as they open. Like literally get there 30 mins before they open to get the first boat ride otherwise you will have to wait for hours and then more hours to get a ticket up into the actual statue. If you are there 30 mins early there are little to no wait lines. As far as i remember from my first trip there.

cool if ur with ur family but REALLY expensive. you can find plenty of awesome, and reasonably priced, restaurants walking around little italy. try the street vendor cannolis. they're amazing.

if u wanna try something a little different and you like chinese food, the best dumplings in the city are in this little hole in the wall shop on the corner of Allen and Delancy st, across the street from the big chinese restaurant with the big green and blue sign. it sort of looks like a walk in place and they sell platters of four fried dumplings for a buck. we fill up there for really cheap b4 we go bar hopping.

seriously though the city is a big enough place where you will always find something cool if you just walk around enough.

basics: china town, little italy, bleaker st. for bar hopping, central park.

have fun.
