Going to Killington on a whim

Hey NS,

Need your advice. I've decided to go to Killington on a whim (or other resort in the North East?). I've never been to the North East States before so I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on places to stay/go (preferably on the cheap) near the resort(s). Thanks!

Where are you from? There is NO snow here at all not worth the money honestly if your traveling far. Go west they are getting crushed.

Very cheap housing to be found if you are willing to post up in a hotel or whatever in middle of no where VT away from the resorts. Obvioulsy more $ the closer you are

Damn, that doesn't sound too good. I'm from Ontario so it would be quite a drive wherever I go. And yea I keep hearing the West is getting dumped on, although driving almost 24 hours turns into an expedition instead of whim trip :P

idk what kind of car you have...but if you want to go that badly just sack up and take a couple days off from work and ski in colorado/utah. Flight can't be that long. EC is not even close to worth it. Southern VT has had 2 inches of natural snowfall all season
