Going to Canada

you need to travel with a legal adult and your parents need to sign a paper that says that said legal adult is your guardian for the trip

davis...i am pretty sure the only other thing you have said funnier than that was regarding grant and teriyaki road head

yes, the ken griffey comment was a gem.

And Chris had it just right. You need something written by your parents that basically says its ok for you to be with them, etc. Do you have a passport?

If not you'll also need a copy of your birth certificate and driver's license, like everyone.

"U.S. citizens will be required to show a passport to re-enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, Panama, Bermuda and the Caribbean by 2008"

"Due to international concern over child abduction, single parents, grandparents, or guardians traveling with children often need proof of custody or notarized letters from the other parent authorizing travel. (This is in addition to proof of citizenship as explained above.) Any person under the age of 18 and traveling alone should carry a letter from his/her parent or guardian authorizing the trip. Travelers without such documentation may experience delays at the port of entry. "

I was told by my command that we're already required to have a passport to cross back into the US. You'd think that my military ID would be enough, but god damn they are anal
