Going to boarding school around whistler

I'm going to a boarding school on victoria and my parents are going to rent a place at whistler.

How's the BC up there? Is it kind of like crystal mountain where all the spots have their own names and it's a huge place with no signs?

I already know I would go with someone who knows the place. I've skied whistler before just never the BC.
 
no I'm asking what the vibe is.

I've skied whistler before and I know how awesome it is...

I mean is it like AK where it's totally unmarked or is like where I go where you can just hike in through access gates and ski down to a shuttle to take you back to the mountain or down to the lift.
 
Yeah. And make sure to have no transceiver, shovel, probe, or any backcountry travel knowledge.

Whistler Blackcomb is really nice now, They let you sled up the green runs to get easier, smoother access to the BC up top. It's pretty rad.

most likely riding nordica enforcers and chronic wides.
