Going back after Injury

In February, I broke my femur after landing a rodeo 540, by skiing into a building, because I didn't pick a nice jump to learn it on. I'm 15 and I was 14 when it happened so I recovered fairly well. I was able to do some basic tricks (backflip, rodeo, flatspin, frontflip, misty) on the tramp this summer, and can skateboard fine.

I am going back on snow tomorrow for the first time in almost 11 months. I'm nervous and don't know what to expect, and don't know how it will feel. Has anyone out there also had a major Injury and have some advice for going back?

I had knee surgery in the summer of 2014 before starting college that fall in CO. 2014-2015 was my first full season of shredding, and my best advice would be to just ease into it. You won't know how your leg will deal with skiing until you're out there again. Keep it tame at first and get a feel for how your leg feels, and take it slow. Obviously it'd be nice to hit it just as hard, but you want to have a firm understanding of how much strength your injured spot has before you try and push it. Good luck homie, and have fun!

I broke my tib and fib last april skiing at killington. I just forgot about the injury first day this season and its fine now so just dont worry about it and ski
