Goggles under or over helmet??

ok so Ive tried both. i found more comfort with goggles over because I could leave the pads in and they fit better than a beanie, also its more practical because you can put your goggle up whenever you want, but this covers up those stickers plastered all over your helmet.

when under, i had to tape over all the velcro spots for the pads so they didn't fray my hat or goggle strap. it is also more annoying to put on and a little less comfortable, but it seems more stylish to have goggles under the helmet with the ear pads removed, and i see most pros with goggles and a hat underneath their helmet. whats better?????

its more comfortable over but looks better under.

and for some reason i think of people who wear them under the helmet park rats/ jibbers and people who wear them on top powder skiers. i dont know why.

if you are wearing them under you NEED A BEANIE. it hurts your hair and it looks so gay when you see your hair under your helmet

Whatever you like best overall is what you should do. Last year I rocked the gogs over the helmet and with this years set up I wear my gogs under helmet cus it works better.

I definately prefer over, but its near impossible without a strap clip, i wear mine under but wish i could wear it over.

pain in the but under because if you want to take your goggles off you have to remove your helmet. Over is more comfortable too and hold goggles in place better imo

With my old giro g10mx I wore them over, and it was comfy and looked good.
With my giro shiv, the inside has no velcro and the goggle clip is removable so it's comfier underneath. Less pressure pulling back on the gogs that way, more natural fit on my head. I like having a toque underneath, like to sticker up my helmet, and I think it looks better under as well. Personal preference.

I've tried both and I gotta say over and I really don't care what people think. To me its more comfortable but whatever

I like under, but it depends because if it's an off day and I'm doing bumps or something I wanna wear em over just so they don't slide down my face, when that happends it's a pain in the ass to fix

i wear my goggles under my helmet cause i find it more comfortable. but for you if you find it more comfortable having them on top then wear them on top

I used to wear mine over two helmets ago and before. Since then, it's been more comfortable due to the helmets to wear under. I have a Poc now, out of curiosity, does anyone wear their goggles over with a Poc? It's so much more comfy inside for me.

i wear goggles over my poc helmet, tried under but was more comfortable for me over but whatever floats your boat

under is a lot more comfy for me, and i rarely take my goggs off anyway so that's not an issue

i only mean its my helmet is more comfortable on my head, because the pads are thicker than any beanie i have. I actually think my goggle fit to my face better in a more comfortable way when they are underneath, so i guess its kindof a wash

I've done under for years. Don't really know why I switched from over but now when I try over it feels weird and I can never get them comfortable.

i definately agree with you on the the stereotypes involved with how you wear it. maybe i change it based on what im doing?

over..if its under you cant lift your goggles up and put them on your helmet, you have to slide up your helmet and goggles together and to me thats a pain....so i like over

Some people like to wear it under cause it looks better.

I wear it under the helmet too, but because it's more comfortable for me, AND it looks better.

But do what's more comfortable for you.

i like under because i have a awesome head set up. ec baller (made for under a helmet) I/Os and a maze (made to fit perfectly with I/Os under or over. but thats just me...gotta love pro forms and getting I/Os and a maze for $120

There is seriously a fucking thread about this?

Under:

1. Won't lose goggles when you fall.

2. Won't be a gaper.

Over:

1. Will lose goggles when you fall.

2. Will be a gaper.

[/End Thread]

under because it looks cooler with my setup and it keeps my head and ears warmer with a benie vs. earpads

Really dependent on your helmet, really for me it came down to what fit and felt better (under), but there really isn't a right or wrong answer...

i have a giro revolver (which is freikin huge around the head) so it just looks retarded with goggles around it in my opinion. so i find that wearing it with no pads, a beanine, and goggles under the helmet is more comfortable, better looking, and warmer.
repost too... but who gives a fuck

Wow, really? I was kidding. I am never EVER serious on this site. (Well, about everything besides the "There's seriously a fucking thread about this?")

I couldn't care less how people wear their goggles and I'm not going to waste my life judging people for it.
