Goggle Scratches

has anyone tried using scratch filler for eye glasses or a similar product for small scratches in goggle lenses? any danger in damaging the lens worse?

someone with some severely fucked lens should consider trying to like sand / wet sand out the scratch and see how successful that is. It makes sense that it would work, but I could see it going terribly wrong.
