Goggle Fetish?

Is it just me, or does a sweet pair of goggle make any picture much better? There are a few pictures/videos where the goggle are just stunning. One picture that has a ton of cool stuff going on in it is the Dillard Follow Cam pic, and my eye always goes straight for the awesome goggles.
 
waaaaaaaaaait. are you saying the best part of a picture is the goggles? i'm having a really hard time understanding what you're trying to say. but having dope goggles isn't going to make your straight-air steezy...
 
No, but I just think that having sick goggles make an already sweet picture look much better. Like if there was anything that I would have added to most picture, it would be cool goggles. I don't know why.

I'm not all artsy in photography, so maybe its that goggles are the simplest cool thing for my mind to comprehend, and thats why I like them, but pictures with cool goggles on top of the a cool trick make my day.
 
I think it definitely is a factor in lifestyle shots, but for ski shots I don't really look at goggles...
 
he's not saying it's the most important thing in a pic or that it makes the riding better, he's saying that it enhances a picture. it's kinda annoying how ns is so closed minded that people read something like this and assume you are saying goggles are all that matter and call you out for not caring about the actual skiing.

I see what you're saying, I definitely notice how fugly some goggles are.
 
I know what you mean now haha i was kinda confused at first... i thought goggles turned you on or something, thats a good example.
 
Im sorry but i have to agree for example there is this one shot in freeskier magazine of sammy carlson and he is doing a rail and he has some oakley crow bars on with a mirrored lens and it does kinda add to the sickness of the picture.. but no the goggles dont make the picture they just add to it.
 
hrmmm my eye mostly goes to what they're grabbing (if they are) and wondering how to get it next time im in plastic shoes.
 
i agree with you 100%. i think goggles make it look so much cooler somehow. plus i can never pass up a sweet pair of goggles.
