God snowboarders are so dumb

Looked like it was the skiers fault to me.. the boarder was just standing there the whole time and the skier ran straight into him, he could easily have gone around..
 
Looks like they were buddies, snowboarder was filming his homie and the skier just got caught up in his turn and couldnt avoid him.
 
I think your right. The skier was probably trying to spray the camera but couldn't get the turn in.
 
Even though stopping in the middle of a line is a bit dumb, these dudes probably were out on the hill together...since they were both Go pro'ing on the same video edit...
 
I think it is clear what happened here. As the skiier was enjoying a good solid few inches of pow he got caught up in the moment. As he drifted in and out of consciousness, his snowboarder friend stopped, completely blocking the narrow trail. When the skiier looked up, it was too late. He had no choise on such tight a run other than to ram his friend and hope for the best. Upon impact, the skiiers side mounted gopro was knocked off due to force. As the skiier's impact pushed the snowboarder down the mountain things got nasty. At 10 seconds we can observe the boarder's avalanche awarness take effect. He pulls his air bag pack and proceeds to roll down what one gaper may call the "backcountry". At this point the video cuts out and no further conclusions can be made
 
Seems much more likely that op is one of those morons who either thinks hating on snowboarders for the sake of hating on snowboarders is cool for some reason, or is just one of those people with an innate, irrational hatred for snowboarders, not because they have ever done anything terrible to him or even harmed him in any way, but just because they exist.
