left curve right curve for me, I'm left foot forward and I like to lean toeside on the first curve as opposed to heel side if it was curved in the opposite pattern

This is the way. I fucked myself bad last time I did a right curve left curve. I was going over the top in the middle so I tried to kind of set my shoulders differently. Ended up putting too much weight on back foot and slipped out and landed on my head. Pretty sure I got a concussion that day

Couldn’t hit a rail properly then

That thing was set up perfect, haven’t put a good one in since. Especially later in the spring when it melted out and it was high af

s rails are the best, but if it's a short s rail it sucks feels way to forced.

Boulder used to have an s rail that I hated, way to quick.

I agree but I feel like im cheating cause its so easy to just go fast and skip the first half of the first curve. Our S rail has to always be set that way can't complain lol

I was so proud when I got a steezy front 4 out of the Timberline S the last day it was ever on hill in 2021 before it got all fucked up and they shortened it

damn that explains so much, last year I was wondering why the s didn't feel nearly as good as it used to years past. That thing was so good before they shortened it

I am going to claim that I was the first person to set a dfd after an s rail. Was in 2011, then park city started doing it in like 2019.

I don't have any photos or video to back this claim, only the memories of digging through 1ft of ice to try to get the dfd to match the s well.

There is video of this somewhere. I cannot remember where, but I know it exists.

Big Sky had a challenge rail that was a flat S to a down donkey to down rail, kinda like a DFD. It was so fun.

Breck used to have a double barrel DFD but the last down Y’d to a single barrel left or right. I remember a flat bar before it once but would have been sick if they had an S before it. I actually was able to get the rail from park crew for a back yard setup. They cut it for me as it was huge and hard to move lol.

That's so sick, especially that the double barrel split to make the Y

Wouldn’t expect anything else from springs if I’m being honest
