Alright so i managed to loose that little rubber thing that is supposed to go on when you clip it in to a mount. My question is will it affect anything?

No, it will not massively effect the camera, i sometimes dont even use mine, all it does is reduce any minor wobbles or clicking noises the camera makes when in use, if you feel a massive difference you can order them off the internet or you can put 2 small pieces of duck tape on top of the adhesive mount either side of the spine which stops the rattling, but it is nothing to worry about.
