ok I must be stupid. I just bought a go pro, can't figure out how to mount it to the head strap mount. so I use the screw and the nut from one of the other mounts?!
thanks for the help ns!

yes, you answered your own question, you have to use the screw and nut and just switch it over depending on what mount you are using

You just unclip it from the box that it comes in. Then put the straps of the helmet mount through two vents, cross on the inside of the helmet, and bring them up through the opposite holes they went through. ex. left goes down through hole 1, up through hole 2. Right goes down through hole 2, up through hole 1. Then put the straps through the little cinch things on the side of the mount, pull them tight, clip the cinch down. Then slide the camera back into the mount until it clicks and is locked in.

do i use the screw and nut from the mount it comes with? because i popped the nut of that one out, and placed it in the head strap mount, but now neither will the screw thread, or will the nut come out of the head strap mount.

Use the longer of the two screws (assuming yours came with two sizes like mine did). Any of the nuts should work.

Is the rubber piece "U" shaped? Mine came with an orange one shaped like that and its used in the slide-mount to reduce vibration.
