GO PRO help please (BASIC)

very frustrated right now. i dont no how to get my go pro to mount on my desktop. the manual just informs you to plug it into the usb. did that nothing. i have a macbook and i had restarted and shut down. any tips i just want to import footage and im about to give up. thanks

Put the memory card in the memory card reader like you do with every camera.

The computer won't pick it up unless you have it turned on, the little screen on the goPro should switch to USB once the computer reads it

yeah to be detected it needs to be turned on when you plug it in
