i plug it in and then nothing happens. it usually either blinks or when u turn it on it says usb. but i get none of this. i can turn it on and it still films but when i plug it in the computers it dont recongnize the device. Does anyone know if it is ok to go back and fourth between a pc and a mac with it aswell, or plug it into different computers. because i plugged it into a pc this morning and it worked now i plug it into a mac and it doesnt work. then i went back to the pc and no luck. SORRY

I know you figured it out..but just in case someone else has the same question, you have to turn it on before plugging it in.
