No. They all shoot at 512x384 with square pixels. However, my roommate has a GoPro cam and he always stretches the footage to 16:9 and it doesn't look too bad since the footage already has a fisheye look from the wide lens.
word, that's what i figured cause in most edits i see it's 4:3 but some i've seen 16:9 so i figured either they stretched it or i wasn't seeing the 16:9 cam on their site, but thanks for the info. plus karma.
The GoPro is ideal for online edits, the native resolution is bigger than youtube clips. Also although the resolution is quite small the quality is good enough that I can easily fullscreen it at 1440x900 and it looks fine for helmet cam footy
