Hey questions if anyone has experience with any of these! I'm looking to shoot hand held with a gimbal which is the best? I know wg2 is wearable but it seems like it is worse when you put it hand help on a monopod. Really how much does the wearable gimbal improve the POV shot? Sorry doing this on mobile just debating which i should pick up before my bc trip.

I have a feiyu tech with a gopro session, I have used my friends gopro karma and I would much rather have that. The feiyu can sometimes be hard to aim especially for tilt, but love it for the price. Karma is the best way to go for a wearable chesteeeyy

see i'm leaning towards the feiyu based on battery life aswell, as i've heard good things about the karma but 1:45m battery life seems short

Sorry for the late message, did you end up getting it? I really want to get gopro 7 when it comes out.

I have the WG2, and I gotta say that I really wish I went for the Karma.

I've had a few issues with the WG2, but my biggest complaint is the mounting system for the GoPro. Anytime you want to take the camera off of the gimbal you have to unscrew 2 tiny screws (which can fall out) and remove the bracket. It's a bitch and a half to do with freezing hands on a chairlift, and you have to do it any time you want to swap out the battery or SD card etc. I would never mount it onto a chest or helmet mount, it weighs way too much.

I have used it a lot with a monopod/pole setup and it does fairly well, but I have had issues with the gimbal turning very slowly for no reason and just generally being finicky with how it tracks. The idea of having more flexibility with how you control the gimbal drew me to the feiyu over the karma, but half the time I have to restart the thing 3+ times to get it to do what it wants. 1 button operation might be good for your GF's vibrator, but can certainly be a bitch with camera equipment.

I know right. I hate them, and i broke the back bracket it's rket, so stupid I want to get another one. I now wan to get the karma and the new gopro 7, only 400 dollars 1080 240 and in camera stabilization would be the sickest thing ever I swear. (All a dream if i had money)

no its not, its actually bullshit. I predicted in the "camera talk 2018" thread and now Abe K from GoPro confirmed my suspicions about it: "I would not recommend combining HyperSmooth with ND filters."http://abekislevitz.com/gopro-hero7-black/

that right there makes it useless for anyone serious about filmmaking

Truth. If it's anything like Canon's electronic stabilization in their new R then it's pretty shite compared to actual IBS.
