Gluing/ epoxying the brim of a hat to your helmet

Would this work? I have some JB Weld and I know epoxy can be used on both fabric and plastic. The main reason i would go this route is because the helmet I have fits super perfect and anything in between my head and the helmet is extremely uncomfortable (the reason i started wearing gogs over), so that little button on top of flat brims gets pretty painful after a while.

You could stop wearing a hat under your helmet, or alternatively have you thought about removing the little thing on top of the hat? that way it wont poke your head?

I don't wear a hat currently and the hat itself doesn't really fit under my helmet, only a super thin face mask fits underneath

R.E.D and burn helmets used to make helmets that had a brim, I think the poc helmets also do. As for your situation I’m sure super glue or epoxy would work, idk if I’d use jb weld though… I’m sure it would work but I think it would look pretty ugly in my opinion.
