Gloves Vs. Mittens

Which gloves or mittens do you guys find the best for staying warm and dry? And with a reasonable price tag. Thanks for the help!

Dakine Chargers are pretty nice as far as thin gloves go. They're surprisingly waterproof and keep my hands warm above 0 degrees Fahrenheit. They also give you alot of dexterity.

Cheack out pimp hands. I have been testin out the Benjamin and they are a quality product at a reasonable price. I am doing a full review on them which will be up tommorow.

These are insanely good for what they cost. They're like $10 bucks in various stores. All you have to do is apply waterproofing.

Haven't even waterproofed mine and they stayed dry in the rain

I'm not saying you have to, but I would recommend it.

yep i have about 4 pair of the kinco snow mitts. really durable and warm if you keep them dry. i HIGHLY recommend gettting some snoseal or obernaufs and putting that on there. once theyre waterproof... theyre the absolute best. and tan mitts look super steezy

Mitts>>>>gloves my friend. Figured that out a while ago. Oh and another vote for kinco I guess. Only have a few days on mine but so far so good.

Dakine filmore mitt, got my first pair 2-3 years go, favorite glove/mitt ive ever had. just bought this years filmore of backcountry $50.

I have Dakine Tanner Hall white.

In warm weather hands sweat in their and leather gets wet on wet snow, in the cold they do not enough warm .

anyone know where i can pick up a pair of kinco mitts in canada? all the ones I've found online are from the US and i would rather not pay for shipping.

Semi related: mittens with finger seperators. How are these still a thing?? They literally dont have either benefit that mittens and gloves provide..

More insulation.

Kinco/thread

This, I will never buy another shop glove after making the switch to these a few seasons ago. unless I had the dollar for some Hestras nothing I have ever used comes anywhere near close.

Yeah I guess I could see that, but the best thing about mittens is that your fingers are together and they radiate heat to each other. Kinda defeats the purpose when you separate them.

I find mitts keep my fingers warmer then gloves. really any mitt that's gore-tex should keep you warm and dry

Well it depends on how thick the inner liner is that seperates the fingers. If it's thick then You are right, there's no purpose rrally. But if done right it can take up cold air space, more insulation, and conserve heat longer.

The B-Dog armada mitt has been pretty warm for me so far. A cheaper mitt would be the saga ones or Pimp hands
