Gloves that won't get destroyed by tow rope?

I went through like 3 pairs of gloves that season from my park's fucking tow rope. I'm looking at dropping some cash on a pair by Wells Lamont and idiotproofing them with duct tape. Any other brands that are pretty good at not getting eaten away?

1 pair of these has lasted me the past 3 seasons. they aren't super waterproof or warm but look cool and in my experience they've been super durable (the leather material). stitching on the thumbs has blown out but i fixed it easily hand sewing it.

I agree. I got some Wells Lamonts and they hold up nicely especially for the price. The waterproofing even after you put stuff on the leather is still pretty bad. My gloves never dried at all over the summer at Mt Hood so I had soaking wet gloves every day but I got used to it after a white.

I have these $15 Auclair leather glove protectors that I use to protect my very nice and expensive goatskin leather oyuki trigger mitts; that way they don't get eaten alive by the tow rope I have to daily in the winter, and I get my money's worth out of these expensive hand coverings!
