nice. this is my favourite climate change cartoon.
anthropogenic climate change is obviously occurring. That hasn't been much of a scientific debate for at least a decade.
whether or not it's going to stop the next glacial period, now that's still a big question. If you listen to the scientists you will find that global warming is gonna do some bad things (not as bad as al gore says) but all the little things probably will add up to a very different world.
I have no idea what the solution is. I don't think that we all need to go full on hippy, but just be a little smarter. Like turn the lights off in rooms you aren't using. Turn the heat down when oyu aren't at home. Get doors on grocery store fridges. Turn your computer off at night. So many people are retarted in this way. My current room mate is an example. He just doesn't give a fuck about energy use and it pisses me off since we split the energy bill.
I'm talking about running an empty diswasher because there are no spoons left, or grabbing a new glass everytime he wants a glass of water (like 5 glasses per day), leaving lights on for 2 hours when he was only in the room for 5 mins. Just an absolute waste.
