Idk if anyones heard of this, but my friend introduced me to it today in school and its so sick. You take a picture and either open it up in OXED or notepad and change the code and it gets all glitchy and messed up and looks sick. if you've done it to anything post pics.

yea can you elaborate OP, it looks really awesome and i wanna try it but every time i do something it just says the file is corrupt
 
alright so if you're trying this on a mac i actually just found textedit to work much better. What you do is open the program and then go to open and pick a jpeg of any sort. Once it opens you'll get a huge ass page full of random symbols and shit. what you do then is add a few letters here and there and delete a little bit at a time until it looks cool. You can go to find-find replace and change a bunch of things at once, like all 3s to 9s or something like that, and it will make it look really colorful and pixelated, or just fuck it up. you have to keep trying shit until it works.
 
i just quickly made this by taking a picture of an old lady and adding an article from wikipedia about old age into the code

there are some things i noticed that make some cool looking things, like copying a bunch of the code and pasting it over and over again.
 
It fun to make though, and i found that you shouldn't edit anything in the first section of code, worked for me, not saying it will work for you.

open .jpeg file with textedit

fuck with code

then what? save it and open the picture? i don't get how you reopen the edited code....
 
after editing, save the edited text edit file as "(any word you want).jpeg"

then double click it!
 
There are certain parts of the code that for some reason you cant fuck with, just keep playing around with it until it works, usually all the stuff in the middle works best for me.
 
every time I try to open the picture after i've fucked with it, it says that the file is damaged or corrupt so I can't see my cool picturrrrreeee :(:(:(:(:(:(:(
