Not as good, but little difference. 150$ you can't go wrong with a glidecam...

Its basically the glidecam 4000 pro reskinned, I cant recall if it has the micro adjust knobs, but honestly stability comes from decent weight of your setup good balancing skills and flying practice. I have made a glidecam out of bearings threaded rod aluminum plates bolts washers and some piping and got just as smooth of shots it all comes down to the physics and good bearings I feel like.

Ive been using my 2000 pro but with battery grip tokina 11-16 and shotgun MIC I'm pushing the limits on weight so I might just have to snag one of these

after further research I can confirm its just new black knobs to adjust with but still the same sliding plates, and the weight sled has a slight different shape lol total rip off to get the new ones.

So To further save us some money, I just looked at the fact that the only difference between the 2000 and 4000 model is that the 4000s center shaft is 2 inches longer, and the adjustable one is able to slide out longer and a slightly larger top sled plate.

BOTH the 2000 and 4000 have a 1"diameter shaft

SO with that being said If i buy the 4000s lower shaft I just increased the weight capacity of my 2000 to just about the same as the 4000. If i cant find the shafts online you can get a 1inch rod with an end thread for your weight plate.

So glad i figured that out lol

if and when you go out there you should see if they sell replacement parts still. I wanna snag a 4000 shaft
