Anyone out there? searched and nothing. Just wondering if there are any of you in the Pipe making culture. I guess this is the official flamework/boro/softglass forum. If you want to learn more watch Degenerate art- the culture of pipe making. great film, brings up a lot of discussion. on itues, on demand, zune
 
check out revere glass school. they post vids on the regular of glassblowing and such. i'm taking a ceramics class this coming semester and hope to make some paraphernalia (/endclaim)
 
I would construct steam rollers in my wood shop class with my friends. The stoners in the class were always working really hard to make quality smoking equipment while other kids just sat around so we ended up getting better grades then everyone else. My teacher would be drunk all the time so the class was supper easy to get away with it since he had no idea what was happening.

I wanted to blow glass for my senior project and make a pipe but I had trouble finding a mentor so I instead conducted a drug survey. Blowing glass seems like a cool hobby, hopefully someday I will be able to get into it.
 
I want to get into it. Some of my friends blow art type glass and normal things. Some of my friends blow glass for different head shops or themselves.

My buddy built an brick oven in his backyard that he can get hot enough to make some cools shit.

I def want to dabble in both sides of the spectrum a little bit.

i enjoyed the fact that you didnt use the plural from of glassblower...since u were asuming no one does this
 
I once blew a glass bubble when in the glass blowing shop at school where they make/repair all the chem lab glassware.

But really that dude has some talent, he makes some crazy glassware and things.
 
i have not been up on my ccc/nuggetry very much lately. but i did notice that magweedo isn't with nuggetry/chubbs anymore. who the fuck is Ldog?
 
Chubbs didnt like magweedo because of business issues and kicked magweedo off the nuggetry review group, and added this stupid fool to take his place and ldog has not even been in a video.

well that's a bummer. i thought he was an idiot (ldog) in the name that strain video. chubbs just isn't the same anymore. cpa is still amazing though
 
spent a little time on the torch with Joey at Itza, shit is sooooooo much harder than people might think. i work with a ton of artists but dont have much time to torch.
