are you still down with june 17th? I can go then, and SHski would probably want to go also,

This weekend the pass is supposed to open from the east side. Unfortunatly, I am not driving that far because I leave for boys state tomarrow. So, the 17th its on.

The west side still had a bunch of junk that they needed to do to make it ready for cars. I am at Boys State right now, and will continue to let you people know about saturday.

Visitor Access on the Going-to-the-Sun Road: Visitors may travel by vehicle up to Avalanche Campground on the west side. Hikers and Bikers may travel to a quarter mile below the West Tunnel. Logan Pass is accessible from the east side to vehicles. Hikers and Bikers from the east side may travel to just a short distance west of Logan Pass.

It's not open.

I AM TYPING THIS FROM THE BASEMENT APPLE STORE in Manhatten. The pass is going to be open as of friday afternoon, so we will get together and go as soon as I get back, which will probably be monday. Sorry about the capps.

I went sunday. It was a bit of fun, but is disappointing because a lot of good jump spots are getting melted out fast. Check the area south of Clements for a couple smallish jumps. Good fun. Also, I don't recommend riding switch over two foot tall icy snow ridges, because you will eat shit.

We went yesterday. I will try to get some pics up soon. Be sure to try skiing down the boardwalk if you go, it scares the hell out of the tourists.

I would also point out that if you want to get a decent jump or line in on the pass, get up here, because the snow is going fast. But message me first, because I'll meet you up there.

I went again today. Again, another (maybe empty) promise to get pics up. Look for a large jump left side on the way to the saddle between Oberlin and Clements. You can honestly go 90ft (we were a lot closer to 20-30)if you wanted and were crazy enough.

Logan hits us all up with some high-fallutin' knowledge and wit.

By the way, unless you want to walk 5+ miles to get your turns, the Logan Pass area is pretty much melted out. However, If you decide that turns are worth a bit of a hike, message me and we will go to Birdwoman Cirque.

Btw, if you want a few turns, there is still some snow up in Jewel Basin if you don't mind hiking a few miles each way. Message me if you want to go.
