GL1 or VX2000??

my friend has an old canon GL1 and a sony VX2000 and he's giving them away to me and another friend. he's giving me the choice so which one should i get??

it will mostly be used for learning and getting better at filming and occasionally filming some skiing

are you getting them for free? Because if your paying, don't get either get a better camera. I suggest you get the VX2000 if its for free or cheap, log onto Skateperception.com and sell the camera for $1000 and buy an actual good camera.

This is actually a good idea. Vx cams are shit, and if you sold it to some idiot on SP you COULD use the money for something worthwhile

The vx2k is better than the gl1, but they're both alot worse than a 700 dollar hv30.

list of classic skatep cams, but you should deff, take the vx2, then overprice it on skatep for like 1200-1400 then buy an actual good cam, like a dvx, or an hv30 or some other cam, and yes i bought my dvx for 800 so you can get one

Fuck everyone in the thread get the VX its a fucking amazing camera and amazing colours. Then Save up and buy a Mk1 or Death Lens. Then if your over with it you'll be able to sell it for 2 and half maybe 3g's. VX all the way
