just wondering if the goggle strap holder thing on the back of the giro shiv 2 can be taken off?

Yes it can, I took mine off but I'm considering throwing it back on... Could be much tidier without it.

You can but it looks a little off without it. Kind of too round, I just left mine on after seeing how it looks

yeah, just takes a allen rench or soem thing super easy to come off

Yup, took mine off, idk what everybody else is talking bout, but it's staying off
