Anyone rock this helmet yet? How is it...warm, stlyish..? And how well do the earphones work etc?

my friend said it sucks and it sits on top of your head more than other helmets. but its totally up to you and you should go try it on. i would get the giro 9 helmet its the best and safest helmet and it also looks good

 
hmm interesting. because i saw it at my local shop today, and i need a new lid. and it is only 100 bucks, and others are like 130-150, so as long as there arent any terrible aspects to this helmet, i think im gonna get it.

but input is still appreciated :)

how would is it the 'safest' helmet. im sure there are other helmets just as, or more safe than the 9.

no sam, you're wrong. there is no helmet safer than the giro 9. not even motorcycle helmets.

i think the bad Lt is dumb....thats just what i think..i saw this kid with it up on the Mt and it looked really bad on him.....but if you like it cool.

 
giro 9 safest. lol. it only meets one or two helmet safety regulations. leedoms meet 4 and are approved for snowmobiling/motorcross. they are one of the safest. W helmets are supposed to be good too. The US Navy recently commissioned them to work on a new figher pilot helmet prototype.

giros are bike helmets with insulation.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day
 
the design is sick but i put it on and its really big ontop of your head compared to the fit, its weird. Definitly try it on before buying it.

the bad lt is pretty different from other helmets...it takes a bit to get used to it. it flairs up around the edges on the inside like it looks like on the outside. it doesnt really conform to the shape of your head but you'll get used to it eventually and it wont bother you.

im rockin the bad lt and i have no coplaints...yea it may look a little big at first but you get used to it....it IS designed after the army helmets so its all about style preference i guess....if you like that look then buy it. it does sit more on top of your head than around it like they said but thats how its designed so...

yeh i think im gonna get one this summer for 65$ canadian i wanna get one in like olive green cuz it would look sick with my suit and i would then look pro but not have the skills to show for it

i got mine for 30 bucks new on ebay....love it but i takes some getting used to......i sure wouldnt pay 100 for it though

does giro make an audio series for the bad lt. cuz the only ones i see for the audio is the nine and fuse, but in the adds it says 'Notice: Bad Lieutenant may be deployed with w/ intergrated audio series earpads, AKA TuneUps'

o man i was gana get it out at camp this summer, i think it looks so sick, now wat iv read i almost dont want it as aposed to the giro nine with visor, which do u think i shouold get?

I have got the Giro MX Nine Audio. Sweet as helmet, I believe is the bes ton the market, but it only comes in black which sucks ball.

 
i just got the giro 9 mx, it's way more comfortable than the skate helmet i've been using

as for it only coming in black, spraypaint can fix that

they dont really appeal to me. looks like a bowl on top of ur head. it can't be safe. i have a giro 9 and i love it! so comfortable, keeps you warm, it's the way to go.

I tried a friends bad Lt on, It fit me really well, not like a bowl at all. My protec on the other hand fit like a bowl on the top of my head. Im not sure if i should get the bad lt though, cause i dont know if id want to have that helmet for vary long, id probably get sick of how it looks.

 
Giro Flint SC w/ visor, red/silver. I like it a lot, my a-frames fit it perfectly, absolutely no gap or anything. it looks pretty cool too and has the venting system like that of the fuse (the sliding thing). I suggest that if you are still looking into getting a new helmet...

if anyone wants a giro 9 im sellin mine....its been used for about 5 days of skiing, there are a few scratches on it and i dont have ear pieces....message me if interested. it'll be cheap.

I love those helmets and i was gonna get one but i was really dissapointed with how it fit. It sits high on my head and feels like its gonna flip off as soon as my head kicks back hard. So I didn't get it even though I like it. Do this years fit any different ar are they just different colors?

I'd use it to eat my cereal out of every morning. Actually, back in WWII soldiers used their helmet to eat out of, relieve themselves, and drink out of. Wow can this one do the same? can it live up to the standards of everyday living? Lets hope so.
