GIRO 9 with built in headphones?

I just saw an ad in snowboard magazine for the giro 9 helmet and the ear muffs on it have built in quality speakers with a cord comin down to plug into ur player. I can't find this anywhere on the net to buy or anything so does anyone know where i can get one?

 
just wait abit until they get there site up and stures start getting their product, they should be up before the snow falls, and there called giro tune ups and you can just get the earpads if that helps you at all

Two of my folks just cut a small hole and fitted regular earphones inside the earpads. It's cheaper and works quite well, but netherless it's a good idea Giro had there...

 
go to quiksilver if u want built in headphones in shit, they have em in hoodies and beanies and some other shit.

i talked to the giro rep a while ago..he said the ear pieces would be around 15-20 dollars....and they work with giro 9 helmets that you already have....he said that he doesnt think you will be able to buy the helmet with them already installed but that they would be aftermarket accesorie...but bose makes the headphones inside...so they are good quality...and waterproof

someone told me capix works in the pro tec but i dont believe it .

yeah they cost $139.00 which is kinda exspensive. They come with headphones built into the side you the ear flap. From the headphones there is a regular cord with a built in volume control, you can hook your ipod, cd player, mini disk... into it. You can also remove the music ear flaps and put in regular ones without the headphones.

It's called the Giro Fuse Limited Edition and it retails for $279 canadian. It's a slick lookin helmet. You can also buy the ear peices separately.

 
we have them at my shop and they are sick, its actually the fuse helmet with audio but the nine and the fuse are basically the same thing, so yeah

i was at my ski shop today cuz my dad bought me a regular gyro nine and it was to small. i brought it back and i found one that fit and it said it was an audio but i couldnt find the cord on the helmet. i told the manager there and he said i could make a straight up exchange for the other helmet. is there any chance its still an audio. like where is the cord on the helmet and is it obvious that the headphones are built in? i mean it even has the audio sticker in the back.

yeah the audio is well hidden in the earflaps. You plug a cord into the earflap and then into your audio device.. But you can remove that court so nobody could ever tell it was audio. Maybe your cord was still in the box or something?

fuck you guys either paid too much or you are tlaking about the helmet with the audio, cause i paid 48 canadian with tax for my audio system... i have t wait till tomorrow to put it in tho, freakin christmas...

well the store doesnt keep the helmets in boxes they take them out and put um on the shelves. ill bring it back to the store and tell them that they didnt give me the cord and earphones or somethign

 
dishwalla....you are prolly talking about just the earphones which you can also buy seperately from the helmet and retail for like 30 bucks us. I just proformed a fuse with tuneups for 59 bucks total including shipping. damn

yeah i have it, its cool, but its kinda annoying when you have to turn it off. but its pretty sick i would recommend it, i have the giro 9.nine mx with the audio series. well PEACE
