Girls who shred: yea or nay?

I feel like guys always talk about wanting an outgoing, down to earth type of girl yet they always go for the pretty girls that wear too much makeup and curl their hair to snowboard on the bunny slope. So I'm wondering what you guys think. Are girls who shred hot or friend zoned?
 
I'm sorry that's a load of horseshit. They're only looked at as one of the guys if the guys don't find her attractive. That's how guys work. If the girl is hot and shreds none of the guys are looking at her like "oh yeah dude she's just a bro like us."

if they're better than me then I avoid them, no matter how hot. otherwise, if they're hot and they ski, then i like them
 
Now that's not to say they don't find you attractive. If they ski and you ski and you're attractive they might be extremely intimidated by you and are afraid to make a move. That's another possible scenario
 
A girl who is decent looking and shreds is usually cooler than the preppy girl who wears a ton of make up, making her more datable. Hookup wise, its about straight looks.

Unfortunately, there are very few gorgeous girls who shred, are cool, and are single.
 
What? there are tons of hot girls who ski and I bet are single/cool. It is either that or I keep my standards really low...
 
i worked at a summer camp last year and there was a fellow counselor that shreds park better than me. for the first week i went after the hot blonde but i once i realized she was a prude bitch i ended up falling for the skier chick even tho she's a lil bit bellow my normal standards cuz she's such an amazing person. to bad she lives in colorado and i only see her during summer but i had threesome with her and another chick /claim.honestly before that experience i was pretty shallow when it came to girlfriends but now i tend to not hook up with randos anymore cuz it makes me feel like a shallow douche.

tl;dr on topic: i have a weakness for chicks who are actually good at skiing unless they're kicked. if she's a 6 who's good at skiing she goes up a couple points in my book(probly to like an 8 provided they're not a horrible person)
 
this exactly. its awesome when chicks are into skiing because there is a shared interest that is such a huge part of my life. plus if they dont ski they dont understand the commitment and would probably hate me for disappearing pretty much all weekend all the time.

kidding, everyone knows its all about dat racer ass......

I always imagine a romeo and juliet style romance that can never be, between myself as a free skier and a female racer.

Her dad would be a hardcore race coach and never let her bring a steezy motherfucker like me around; wearing outerwear for maximum air drag.

Our romance would of course begin on the mountain, where we take notice of each other when our paths first cross.

She would be at GS practice and I would fly past the course emerging though the trees and throwing a mean front off a roller as I fade out of view.

After a few more sightings of each other at a distance on the mountain/ around the town, paired with a mutual admiration of each other that builds with every day, fate blesses us one friday.

In some freak lift line accident we end up on a high speed quad alone. The moment finally comes and we meet each other. To our hidden joy, the lift breaks down mid ride.

We sit there for what seems like an eternity, discussing our love for skiing, our dreams, our separate pasts, our united future..

After what must be dozens of minutes of talking, the sun begins to set, we get passionate on the lift (Maybe a gondola instead)

..What starts with light kisses ends in a sexual blaze.

But then we come to realize the lift has still not started moving, and it seemed like more then an eternity at this point...

We come to our senses as it becomes dark, have we been forgotten about on the lift? How could that ever be possible, were sure theyll get us down soon

Packs of wolves begin to hoard underneath the lift

Can this be it? We've just met and yet the end seems so close

Its becomes colder and colder, we struggle to keep warm..

I pull out my chillum and take a refreshing hit of reefer

munchies take over as I have eaten all of my crunchy Nature Valley® bars

I apologize profusely to the love of my life, and then consume her for energy/nutrients.

but seriously i have been with my friends who bring girls skiing, sometimes they just act annoying not wanting to do the same trail as everybody or their feet hurt, but if the girl is chill looks "decent" and is a good skier i am game
 
Difference for me between shredding and skiing. If a girl cant keep up and ski well doesnt shred IMO. Im a selective person when it comes to shredding too with the racing background and such. In the racing world, the hottest fastest girls are almost always taken.
 
IDK, there was this really beautiful blond girl I would sometimes talk to/ski with when i was at breck. (when i say sometimes I skied with her probably 3 times for one run) then I saw her in freeway and she did a cork 9 mute on the biggest jump in breck. After that I realized, I don't think I could ever be with someone who was a way better rider than me.
 
Ahaha is this California Regional? You rode Sierra and went to Oak Ridge? I graduated from Vista del Lago and was always up at Sierra. Where all you Sierra NS'ers at!
 
If you can keep up and are hot and down to earth. Hell yeah. Rare to find but they are out there.

I ski groomers, bumps, pow. So if you can keep up, right on!
 
If your hot and you can ski you get major bonus pointsif your not hot and you ski... always lookin for new wingmen..nahmean?
