Girls twin tip ski help

hey ns,

just needing some help with a friend buying some skis...

she is an advanced skier wanting a all-mountain twin tip.she is looking for a ski that can handle everything.

all help would be appreciated.

depends on the skier and how she rides, but when i got my girl all mountain twins last year and my criteria was for a smaller waist than i'd get for myself (figured she's light as hell and anything over 90mm would be overkill for her ability) but with a resonable length and sidecut that would be fun on groomers and pow. went with 165 cm line celerbity for a 5'7", 115 lb girl who isn't quite a ripper yet

I know a lot of girls who love it for everything from park to pow. It's an awesome 1 ski quiver.

she is 58kg and is about 167cm...

what do you guys think about the 'Armada ARW's??

she was thinking of getting them in a 166cm...

and she can definetly shred...if your wondering what standards she is up to...
 
Well my girlfriend has the ARW and the Celebrity. The ARW is a good ski, but it's really only great for park and groomers. The Celebrity is more versatile and can handle a bit harder riding. She honestly doesn't ride her ARW's much at all any more, so I'm encouraging her to just sell them and use the Celeb exclusively.
 
If you can find them look at the Roxy Black Magic... I was turned off by the fact that I didn't know anything about Roxy's skis but it turns out that they are the same ski as the Dynastar Big Trouble (for men) and now the Dynastar She's Trouble BC...
They may be a bit wider than you were considering but I have ridden these in pretty much every condition imaginable- powder, ice, crud, sludge, groomers, trees, bumps, etc - and they have always been responsive and stable. I know they make for a fairly soft guy's ski but I've never had them chatter or washout on me.
I don't think they make it anymore but you can probably find them online or look at the She's Trouble
 
Is there any reason to limit to women's skis? Who cares about the graphics once you're nipple deep in pow?
 
because she's only 58kg (about 125 lbs). most ladies' skis use a softer and lighter core (like the Celebrity) because a smaller person is riding them. If she were 5'10" and 150 lbs, she should definitely be looking at unisex skis.
