Just wanted to start a skateboarding thread in here

Are any of you guys into skateboarding? What tricks can you do? Have any shots?

Or girls that are into the skate scene in general, Favorite skater?

They just held the first women's street league this year, the recap vid is pretty great if you wanna take a study break and watch some fellow chicks skate

Hell yeah skating is rad! Im not very good.. but I will usually just pump back and fourth in a half pipe for like an hour until my legs cramp and I can't walk haha. Still so fun though!

Learned a bit this summer and really love it! Reminds me a lot of skiing. I generally just cruise around when I skate! Don't really have much skill but love to mess around.

Leticia is my girl!!!! Shes so rad. I love skating. I go to the University of Utah which I think is the best school ever for skating. There is a train that takes you back up the hill so you can lap it all day long. I skate between all my classes and it keeps me sane when there's no snow on the ground

I don't skate anymore, but I used to shred hard as a little kid. I was always the only girl in the skatepark, and would go super early in the morning to practice riding the halfpipe because I was too intimidated to go during the day when the park was inundated with dudes. I think I quit because I broke my board and my parents didn't want to buy me a new one. I was too young to buy it myself. hmm. I recently found one of my bro's old boards and put new tape and bearings on it, hoping to get back into it this summer.

I follow a bunch of chicks that skate on instagram though. Annie Guglia (@nnieguglia) is one of my favorites
