So i recently have been playing a fair amount of halo with my guy friends, but ive always thought it kinda manly or not very feminine to play video games. I gotta admit, we all have fun, and im getting pretty good. I got a triple kill with the energy sword, and got fear the pink mist yesterday. My friends keep telling me they are gonna get me a live account for christmas.

so whats your opinion ns? cool, or should i just leave em be? i dont really mind watching them play, they are hilarious.

 
Haha I do this with my guy friends too We get in from the slopes and play have a couple of drinks it's heaps of fun. We usually play GTS, SSX or Wii though. But even just watching them are hilarious.

It's just chill, its not like you are a mad intense freak doing it, if it's something you do with your frineds and have you have fun with it then go for it.
 
Oh, i susally act all creeper over the mike to scare people, i sometimes act gay and try hit on other players too (No Homo?) most fun thing ever, talking like freds a good one too!
 
I used to play in the rotation with my guy friends-- it gets old just watching. Honestly though, I prefer either old school games (contra, mario brothers, mario kart, street fighter), or semi old school games (Tony Hawk, 1080, Bond)-- world at war and stuff, i could take it or leave it.

Also the controls in halo are frusterating for me, i always end up getting the vision and the body movements confused, and when I try to move, end up staring at the ground.
 
sorry to triple post, but I thought it was common knowledge that guys like it when girls can participate and enjoy the things that they like to do. The motives of this thread are questionable.
 
It is nice to see girls that like to do some guy things. But not many guys partake it girls things, just seems rather unfair sometimes.

But its noting to be all creeperish about you know? Just cause a girl play xbox, doesnt mean all the guys should be freaking out.
 
just straight up dont play video games. its for losers. i'm not gonna lie, i used to play the shit out of WoW, and i am not proud of it. video games do not help you accomplish anything positive in life. they are a distraction, and a tool used only to procrastinate what you should be doing. i play games every now and again, to kill time.. relax.. but getting involved (i.e, xbox live) is just silly. if you really think about it, there's so much more to do with your time than play some mindless game, improving a useless skill that will not contribute to anything in the future.
 
yeah my best friend plays Halo 3 on XBL, it's so funny because whenever she uses the headset these kids are all "OMG A GIRL IS PLAYING!" haha. i don't see anything wrong with it, video games are fun and if you're bored it's a decent way of passing time. just don't get addicted, i have friends who play that WoW shit, and well, we're hardly friends anymore because that's all they ever do. don't touch that game, it screws people up.
 
yeah i played WoW 2 years ago for 5 months. then i realized... holy shit ive gone out like 5 times in 5 months. that was unnacceptable. so i quit immediately and woke up. its mad fun, but its not worth getting addicted and shit
 
lawlz. dun woo though, its history. im not a typical asian. some people in my school are just so weird. im in all honors and aps, but my grades kinda suck.... and the only game i play is halo and madden and skate

theres this asian girl in my ap physics class and was in my ap chem class last year before i dropped out to honors (too much work!). she spends literally like 6 hours on hw every day. she got a b+ on a test last year in chem and her parents made her call the school and talk about it, and she was in tears the entire day. thats just sad.... my parents told me not to get straight a's because thatll take up too much of my time, which is awesome. and theyre wicked westernized

and the other thing about asians.... theyre all best friends only with eachother. theres like packs of them. im friends with a few asians yeah, and our school is a big lovely friendly place, but the vast majority of my friends are white kids. then i see a table of like 5 asians and i just dont get it
 
i love when girls play video games, i think they are very fun and you always have soemthing to do when you are bored, my girl loves playin guitar hero and halo and cod...she tries to play me in madden but it just isn't fair for her (if anyone wants to play me in madden (or anything) Double A08) its a zero not an o...

world of warcraft isn't a bad game as long as you don't let it get to you like that, i play on and off...i've been playing for about a year and a half on and off and i have a lvl 59 paladin...its just a change of pace once and a while from halo and cod...i really want to get rockband 2 hopefully after christmas.
 
haha keep playing! i used to hang out with some LAN kids and it was hilarious (my skills were abysmal compared to them since they...didn't really leave the basement for weeks).
 
Hotties fuckin' LOOOVE rock band. 'Sweird. I know some cool asian chicks who play video games but there aren't that many. I want an xbox, but I don't have money for it.
 
hell yea it is... I mean, you know when you hear all the other guys... cause like a I got girls... um... lovely weather we're having wouldn't you say?
 
Haha we all had to stay at a cabin together a few years back and we had to share a bed... needless to say she molestered me! And now I'm afraid of people with piercings.
 
people on live are so weird, i borrowed my friend's headset and started yelling at other players with a german accent, it's fun to fuck around on it but some kids take it so seriously and yeah people hit on girls so much when they join
 
It started off with Counter Strike with me, raping in de_dust (haha!) Then I use to play halo on live almost everyday, but now it seems I have no time for it, which is a shame. But give me a shotgun, and I will own.

And this isn't a claim, I've played Halo with some ns'ers when I had time.

Oh, and go girls that play xbox! You fucking rule!

 
hahaha chicks on live is hilarious. dudes always go nuts. but fuck halo COD 4 is where its at
