I feel like I can go ahead and say that women would rather have a dude that treats them and others well than a dude that ignores them half of the time.... kind/considerate people are the best kind of people....

im not super sure why people think we want bad boys, bring me tacos, top rope for me, do my taxes, help me pay for the Yamaha I want yada yada not that hard

Agreed with OP - married almost seven years, and my salary is more than 2.5x what my husband's is (our salaries were nearly identical when we got married, though). He's very kind, funny, supportive of my career, respectful, hard working, and a great husband and father to our minions. When he buys me gifts, they are always very thoughtful, practical, and within our budget (I'm the one who likes to go all-out with the presents). Those are the qualities that matter to me, and I wouldn't trade him for some asshole sugar daddy in a million years.
 
Being a complete douchebag usually works out better for me TBH. But i don't know any other way.

Ugh yeah, I gotta say... My limited experience is that girls like guys that keep them in suspense... I think being a good human is always the best card to play, but that is WAY different than just giving in...

Ya know what, fuck it, I'll say it. I don't care if I get flamed over this one cuz it hits home for me and countless of my friends. Besides, I know none of these hypocrites will understand... until the day they're scared shirtless at the idea of their sisters and daughters moving to a ski town.

The majority of ski/ride dudes make the fucking worst partners.

I've tangoed with enough of em and seen the same behavior over and over.

A couple rambling theories from my experiences:

1. Their identities revolve around competitive pack riding. The "guy that can't keep up anymore" gets shit on - either get ridiculed out of the group or he has to earn more status to stay in the pack. If his girlfriend skis better than him, WHOAH he automatically bumps down the food chain and has to discourage and exclude her away from skiing, especially with him and his friends. If she skis worse, it's always justified to shit on her, as she is the lowest member of the pack.

2. To survive crazy ratios (love you Scummit County) of dudes relentlessly hitting on you, threatening you, and stalking you all the time, you feel like you need to have a boyfriend for safety, whether you want one or not. So you go from one toxic shitty relationship to another with psycho ass mountain dudes just for them to be like, "I'm taking a turn on this entitled bitch." They don't have enough practical experience and baseline empathy with women to understand that we're not trying to fuck our way to the top of their pack. Just trying to navigate a swirling dating pool that's rife with aggressive, sexist, stupid, violent, drug addicted, brain injured alcoholics that live in the woods.

It is sooooooo rare in this niche to actually meet a NICE, attractive, treat you like an equal, conscientious, philosophical man with an actual identity and robust sense of self esteem. Soooo rare.

Guys that regularly enjoy the pleasantry of sessioning with women because they actually understand how nice it is to spend time with their mothers, sisters, lovers, and female friends? Few and far between.
 
Agreed. Those boys treating woman like shit will end up being single a majority of their lives and honestly regret it when they are older. I know, I have friends that are currently this way and they are so unhappy and dislike their lives. They might portray they are happy driving the new truck, having the latest greatest of stuff, making lots of money, but when they are alone, they moan and groan about being alone and living in an empty house. These are guys that treated their moms like shit growing up and felt like the world owed them everything. Now, to each their own, some can handle the being alone and living like they can do everything on their own but when it comes down to it, things work so much better when you are with the person that treats you well. I know I dont want to be laying on that hospital bed and nobody there for me, been there before and it is no fun. Boys, be a man and treat every woman the way you want to be treated but better. Kindness goes much further than rudeness.
 
23 years 320 days and a few hour of "i do" maritial spansership bliss here

i knew she was a keeper from the 1st date and treated her as such and continue

i bailed on the soli for the most part this season but maybe ski ya lds up there sunday fore 4:20 on the ph/eagle ridge op

Survey says this is false. Women want a guy with shit going on in his life and if you have shit going on then you dont have time to constantly simp over girls. I agree that you should probably be nice if you want someone to like you though.
 
Ugh can I just say how much I hate the misuse of the word "simp"?

Men insulting men for treating women with ordinary kindness, like we have any value besides being their Mommy McBangMaid.

God, they'll call each other "simps" just for having normal friendly conversations with us.

It's an immediate indicator that these guys don't have a sense of positive masculinity. Instead, one that is fragile and warped.

No wonder we stray away from these guys. In the end, they always get abandoned.

In reality, women gravitate towards and respect men who are strong enough in themselves to be vulnerable, have no qualms showing respect to women, showing a sense of maturity and competency which allows them to actually bond with us.

but where the system breaks down is that if you treat a girl TOO WELL and act too submissive she will subconsciously feel you are desperate and unworthy of her because if you are treating her like a princess she will think she is out of your league and she should be aiming higher.

if the girl aims too high at a guy like dolan who would rather do drugs than fuck her then she will feel like she has aimed plenty high but perhaps too high because she feels unappreciated and unvalued/unloved.

the goldilox zone is in the middle. If you want a girl that will love you then aim for a girl that is attractive enough to you that you could stand fucking her every once in a while and aside from that try to find a girl with a killer personality/intelligence and a good heart.

its funny, when i was a kid i wanted to fall in love with a beautyful girl and be her knight in shining armor. I dont know what happened but at this point im about as jaded about love as a cartel soldier is about killing people.

At some point i could see having kids but everybody is gonna be born again when they die so who cares.
