Forget this whole post, it won't happen. This whole misunderstanding is just going to ruin it all. Involved meant spreading the word, it was not intended how it sounded. Sorry for the girls who were interested, it's too difficult with too much negative feedback.

yeah no kidding, its just the internet. If posts from anonymous people you've never met on Newschoolers.com is enough to convince you to give up after such a short time, then there's no way you'll have the efforts to take this on seriously.

Its a cool idea, but - honestly, realistically I don't think you would get much interest, but its still a great idea!

How old are you? Not even in college yet? This sounds like perhaps its too big to take on right now for you. This wouldn't be a simple thing, it would be a LOT of work.

Give it time, think it over, and ignore every post (except mine) on here. The internet is useless, especially this site, you'll learn that.

Don't give up, you're only showing the OPPOSITE of your whole point here... how easily a girl can get shut down by a bunch of guys.... You've already given up........

yah dont give up now yung lad. think about it this way....if everybody in this thread was really, emotionally affected by what is said about them and their ideas, apestead would be the last one standing after his rampage a few months ago.

I actually don't think I'll give up, it's just frusterating when people I actually know are so negative about it, even on here. It's like ok I know you don't like me, and don't like the team ideal, but you really don't need to remind me.

It's a good idea, I know, and I know there aren't a lot of girls around here to join up, but that doesn't matter too much to me. I've already gotten so much positive feedback from serious, major companies that I won't just stop. Even a team of like 8 girls would be awesome, it'd just mean more support for them.

Yeah I'm a senior in high school, but only have 2 classes a day, and actually this team is part of a school project for a credit. So I have plenty of time to do it, that's not an issue, and I know it's BIG but I don't have problems with that sort of thing....I just can only handle so much put downs till i flip. But I'm good now, I have plans for this team, I'm starting it this season, and continuing and spreading it next season.

That's good that you're still strong about it, but....

what negative feedback have you gotten? And how has anybody put it down? At least in this thread alone, there hasn't been any real serious put downs or negative feedback.

once again, kids on the internet = nothing of importance.

oh, one more quick tip. if this does pan out (i hope it does for you) don't make it too "official". By official I mean, don't make it like a "club" where you have officers and crap like that, no leaders, nothing like that. I'm sure you wouldn't, but I've seen so many people start up car clubs like that, with presidents, and vice presidents, and stupid stuff like that. Rules and shit. NO RULES. It lasts for a few months, then it all falls apart and everybody ends up hating each other.

thats pretty much what I'm going for. I don't want to deal with the drama that comes with rules and leaders, etc. Basically the girls just check in with me and thats about it. We will just ski, travel, and just chill together. Then the companies just give us extra goodies, and fun things to do, like premiers and events to go to. They'll also be scouting the girls and any other people I recommend them to watch for up and coming pretty much. I don't want this team in any way have anything to do with politics, rules, legal stuff, fees, etc. So it won't.

Yeah that was off topic...

Anyway, my only "SUGGESTION" was to open it up to EVERYONE in the GREAT NW... The pool of talent isn't to great over in eastern WA

 
intrinsic is EXACTLY what I was refering to, haha. Good call Damon.

There is an example of what was a GREAT club, great group of people, even did some AWESOME charity shows and raised a lot of money for some good causes. But then personal drama got in the way, and it fell apart, which was so stupid. They stopped talking to each other, and it was all so retarded.

Yeah intrinsic was before my time... I showed up when the dust was settling I think. I just heard what happened from the guys on NWCustoms
