Alright NS, I have been with my girlfriend with a year this Friday.

I had planned on buying her a new necklace but last moment she popped it on me that she wants to exchange handmade gifts or something with a lot of meaning. I've been super busy lately and haven't had time to put something together.

So please NS, does anyone have any ideas for what I could give her?
 
get her the necklace still. it will suprise her and if you know what she likes, she will love
 
Make a custom picture frame with all of the fun times that you two have had together, put pictures, symbols, inside jokes, or whatever has meaning to the relationship. That's what I did with my girlfriend, and she loved it
 
Paint or make someone paint a painting of her.

Find a good picture of you two and make a personal frame for it.

Buy her a bland coffee cup and say you will write something romantic on it and make it personal, then forget about it for years.
 
Oh and my friend just recently made a fucking huge poster of a word cloud with words he associated with her and their relationship and interests, it was fucking awesome and she was blown away.
 
make a cast of your penis then fill it with chocolate and 100 dollar bills. every girls dream just came true.
 
if youre artistic and your girlfriend is really mushy / sentimental, just have a field day making music / art that appeals to her softness and you are more than likely to succeed

does she smoke the pots? I just got bored and whittled up some pieces last night, I'm probably going to give one to the beezey since she smokes and it's hand made.

If you dig it I could instruct you on how to fireproof the bowl and shit.

also, if anyone is interested in having me make them a piece I'd do it for mad cheap, it's kinda theraputic for doing during study breaks and such.
 
just taker her on a super nice date. go to a nicer than normal restaurant, get a couples massage, paint your own pottery place and make each other gifts there? Shopping for girlfriends is super tough especially if its with someone you have been dating for a while. good luck.
 
Still get her the necklace. But also make her a necklace out of dry pasta noodles and some string. I know it sounds like a shitty gift, but coming from a girl, it was one of the cutest gifts I've received.
 
At hobby lobby now, might go to the mall. Down to my only free time till 1:30. Next chance will be at midnight. Plans so far are flowers, nice dinner, and ice skating tomorrow.
 
Flowers, dinner and ice skating are all beautiful ideas and will be a great date, but also give her something she can always have as a token of your one year together! Even if it's just a really sweet letter!

Tried to look for a way to make a bracelet. Gave up as I was just getting confused/frustrated.

Went to the mall, went to the jewelry stores.

Dropped more money than I wanted to on a Pandora Bracelet with three charms; soccer ball, her birth stone, and my birthstone.

Thanks for the ideas people +k those that really helped, will definitely use some of the ideas posted.
 
Well do something from the heart then man, put some effort in and make her something special it's not that hard. Don't come to this thread for advice on that. #romaticswag
 
If you're good at cooking, just make her a really nice meal. Or, if she really likes cooking, buy her ingredients and then she can make you a really nice meal.
